In December, I completed the final CEUs to maintain my LEED AP, ID+C credential another two years.
In case you are not familiar with this certification, LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and it was established by the United States Green Building Council. ID+C is a specialization pertaining to interior design and construction. What this all means is that I have specific knowledge in LEED and sustainable practices for commercial interior environments. To give a little more insight, LEED certified buildings are designed with whole building sustainable practices in mind. It specifically addresses: sustainable sites, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and water efficiency.
If you are curious about green design and/or LEED building practices, feel free to contact me. I would love to share some of the knowledge that I have gained since becoming a LEED Accredited Professional several years ago.
